COP27: IMF calls for climate-smart investment in Africa

The International Monetary Fund’s managing director said in the sidelines of the UN Climate Conference on Tuesday that climate change could create “excellent opportunities” for the private sector in Africa, adding the investing in the low-carbon economy could create jobs.
