COP27: Protestors push for capping global heating to 1.5 Celsius

Talks in Sharm el-Sheikh got off to a plodding start. Delegates dither over the need to restate the 2015 goal of limiting global warming to 1.5° Celsius. Yet it’s a minimum for many islanders who protested on Wednesday (Nov 16). Dozens of activists staged demonstrations in the COP 27 venue.
