Russia says drone attack on own airbase has killed three people | DW News

The defense ministry said the attack happened at Engels airbase hundreds of kilometres from Russia’s war in Ukraine. The deaths were apparently caused by falling debris after a drone was shot down. Officials said no planes were damaged, but social media accounts said several had been destroyed. Ukraine has not claimed responsibility for the attack.
