Thousands greet Pope in DR Congo’s capital

Massive crowds thronged the streets of Kinshasa Tuesday (Jan. 31) to welcome Pope Francis after he landed in DR Congo for the 1st leg of his fifth trip to Africa. For the occasion, the Congolese government had announced schools would be closed in the capital and workers could work only half a day.
