Zelenskyy welcomed by EU Parliament and European leaders | DW News

Volodymyr Zelenskyy has been in Brussels with leaders of the EU’s 27 member countries at their special summit on the situation in Ukraine. 

Before the discussions, the prime ministers, presidents and the bloc’s most senior representatives warmly welcomed the Ukrainian president, who’s on only his second trip outside his country since the start of Russia’s full-scale invasion. Before the summit, Mr Zelenskyy addressed the European Parliament. Ukraine’s President urges European leaders to keep up the flow of weapons and aid to Kyiv.
