Nigerian presidential candidate Obi vows to empower youth: A new era of hope for the future?

Thousands of Nigerian Labour Party supporters welcomed the party’s presidential candidate, Peter Obi at a rally in the nation’s capital Abuja on Thursday (Feb. 09).
Obi has inspired a movement of mainly young Nigerians. The 61-year-old wishes to disrupt a traditional two-man presidential contest.
